Amboise staying at a hostfamily

In Amboise, students can choose to stay with a French host family or in individually rented accommodation.

Host families: There are many types of host families - from families with children to single-person households (in most cases older landladies). All host families are carefully selected and regularly inspected. When placing students, also special dietary, health or religious requirements are taken into consideration.
Living with a French family improves the language skills and understanding of the culture. During July and August, half board includes breakfast with the family and dinner in a restaurant or with the family (vouchers are issued for the restaurant). For an additional EUR 39 per week, some families offer en-suite facilities. Most families in Amboise are situated close to and within walking distance from the school. For students bringing their car and informing the school accordingly, accommodation is booked with particularly nice host families, living further away. Some families also rent out bicycles against payment of a deposit.

Residence The Halls of Residence are situated a 10-minute walk away from the school and offer single rooms with shower/toilet. Residents are also free to use a communal kitchen and a computer room. The block of buildings contains a restaurant, offering low-priced meals from Monday to Saturday.
