Main attractions
The town itself: small and lively, with attractive shops and old buildings, shady trees and pleasant walks by the river. The countryside is extremely varied with rich farming land, vineyards, gentle valleys and limestone hillsides. Much of the surrounding area is forested - ideal for walking or cycling. Along the Loire valley, some of the most beautiful Renaissance castles are to be found.
